Wooden Mugs
We have set out to create the perfect wooden mug. Our mugs are all food-safe. We use a high-end FDA-approved Epoxy for coating the inside. This allows the mug to be used with warm or cold fluids. The outside is finished with natural wood finishing oils. Mugs are hand wash only.

This is a pirate mug. It is made of white oak and black walnut. I created it for a character at the Colorado Renaissance Fair.
Custom Leather Toppers
Want to keep dust and stuff out of your mug? Not a problem. We can make a custom leather topper with any design you would like laser engraved on it.
The glue-up portion takes many days and many phases to complete.
We make them in batches of 60 to 90 mugs at a time. Plus, that is about all we could fit in our shop.
Each mug is fitted with a custom handle and is pinned with dowels through the mug wall. This gives it the added strength to take a beating. Or give one.

We spend around 20 hours making each Mug.

We source all of our wood locally from 'off cuts' at a local sawmill. Those 'off cuts' would normally be burned or put in the landfill.
We learned to use bike tires to get the correct level of compression needed for a strong glue bond.
We let the wood do the talking. "Psst. Wood? What kind of mug do you want to be?" Each mug has its own personality. Some are sassy, bold, sexy, and even crazy.

We would be happy to work with you to design a custom mug that fits your needs. They range in price, starting at $250 and go as high as $700, depending on materials. Most mugs come in around the $300 range. Not everyone wants a fully purple heart mug with a custom leather lid, a laser engraving of a tattoo they have, with an elk hide-wrapped handle. But, maybe you do. All of that affects the price.
